Vandy Vape MAZE Sub Ohm BF RDA Will In Stock in Thursday
The Vandy Vape Maze RDA comes with a beautiful resin drip tip. I have the black version and I received a bright red resin DT with it. I love this DT because it is very comfortable and it is not the short chuff cap style DT that a lot of manufacturers are using lately. The drip tip is a Goon or 810 style drip tip that has a wide bore. There is also a 510 drip tip adapter included for those vapers that like to run their traditional 510 drip tips.
The top cap has a Goon or 810 style drip tip opening with a thick o'ring on the interior. This allows the top cap to keep your drip tip in place. The included DT fits snug and so have all of my aftermarket Goon style DT's. Around the circumference of the exterior of the top cap, there is some deep knurling. This knurling allows you to get a good grip of the top cap when adjusting the airflow.
Right below the knurling on the interior of the top cap, there is an o'ring with a really nice tolerance to it. The interior of the top cap has 5 airflow cutouts that coincide with 5 square shaped cutouts on the barrel. The barrel airflow has 9 individual holes per square, for a total of 45 airhole slots. It sounds like a ton of airflow but the airflow holes are very small. The interior of the top cap is conically designed for flavor.
The barrel has 5 squares and each of the 5 squares has 9 individual holes that can be closed down 3 at a time. The individual holes are slotted downward so they hit the top of the disc coil. This type of design creates a very smooth airflow that is very reminiscent of the Bonza RDA. The airflow is a little on the noisy side but its not a dealbreaker. I also like the fact that there is no wrong way to put this top cap on. No matter which way you put the top cap on, you are getting the same airflow. There is also some Maze branding on the exterior of the barrel.
This RDA has a center fill tube. It comes with the bottom feeding tube pre-installed. The squonking tube for this RDA is shorter than the traditional 510 tube. The juice hole for refilling is towards the top of it and it protrudes from the center of the coil. The non-squonking tube that is included in this RDA is a little bit longer than the squonking one and it has the juice fill hole positioned a little lower.
Both tubes are mounted on the bottom of the juice well. The juice well for the Maze RDA holds 2 mls of juice. The capacity is ok but I wish it held more juice had some sort of sight glass so I could actually see how much juice is in there. If you are running the non-squonking tube, then you can fill this RDA from the top. If you are running the squonking tube, all you have to do is squeeze your bottle and fill up the juice well.
Conclusion:
If you want that RDA experience but you're not into building, vandy vape maze sub ohm 24mm bf rda is a perfect choice for you. It's for the vaper that vapes on sub ohm tanks but they just have no desire to build. Yes, you're not going to get that same thick, lush vape that you get from other more traditional coils but you will come very close to that RDA experience. The flavor on this atomizer is very good, it's what I would classify as borderline excellent. The cloud production is really nice and the airflow is buttery smooth. If that's the kind of atomizer that you're looking for, this one's DeucesJack approved, just for you. Go get your flat coil vape on.
