Review of Pioneer4You IPV400 200W TC Box Mod

The Pioneer4You IPV400 TC Box MOD is the latest box MOD from Pioneer that is aiming to put its critics to rest. The IPV400 is a substantial and well-built MOD that give you great vapor production in a sleek and easy package.

The earlier model IPV4 had its fair amount of criticism, which is why Pioneer4You quickly released the IPV4 s, addressing the issues with the original MOD. The IPV5 improves their unit even further, creating a MOD that is powerful and well designed—and pleasing many vapers with its variable options and awesome power.

The IPV400 is an excellent blend of style and substance, with a sleek look that puts it on par with even the more expensive MODs out there. The LED screen is easy to read and it displays wattage, applied voltage, resistance level, memory setting and battery life. Temperature controls are in both Celsius and Fahrenheit and can heat the coil up to 572 Fahrenheit. The IPV5 has variable wattage settings from 10 to 200 watts. You can also select a setting for your coil, as well as your resistance range. The IPV400 does support sub-ohm vaping, with a resistance range of 0.15 ohms all the way up to 3 ohms. There are a lot of options on this device—meaning it is truly best suited for an experienced vaper who is comfortable with the ideas of so many variable settings.

Still, even though it's best for experienced vapers, it is still easy to use with clear buttons and a clear screen to cycle through all the settings easily. It is as simple as a device with this many options really can be, so you won't ever feel overwhelmed once you're comfortable with your favorite settings. The MOD has memory settings too so you can load your own favorite settings with only a few clicks of the button.

The IPV5 has a standard 510 connection so all your favorite tanks will work with this MOD. The unit comes with a user manual and a USB cord for updating if needed, this cord will not be used for charging. The batteries are not included in this kit, so you will want to make sure you have two 18650 batteries on hand or you'll want to purchase them when you get your MOD. The door slides open easily to reveal the spring-loaded battery compartment. There are several battery vent holes along the bottom of the MOD, preventing the device from overheating. This doesn't take away from the overall style of this sleek unit.

The IPV400 is available in black, or purple. I hear there is a pink one out there too, but I haven't seen it available for purchase just yet. The unit has a substantial feel and good weight to it; it feels like a well-built solid unit when you hold it in your hand. No matter what color you choose, you'll find that Pioneer4You put a lot of work into their IPV5 to bring you a MOD with all the right settings for your perfect vaping experience.
